Wireless not working on your Acer 5742G laptop running Windows 10 with no wireless adaptor showing within Windows device manager?
Make sure you have installed the ‘LaunchManager Application’,
which enables all the laptops ‘fn’ keys to work properly.
After installing, reboot, and enable the wireless adaptor by
fn + f3. The orange ‘wireless enabled’ status LED
should light up (top left to the right of the power button).
LaunchManager can be downloaded from the Acer website.
